The MAGA Conference 2014 will take place on Saturday 22nd March.
This year the venue will be County Hall, which is central for most people. From MAGA: "Our first focus for this year will be on language and culture and how each can help the other and we are very pleased that Brian OhEadhra is able to come to give the keynote speech. Brian is Gaelic Arts Officer for Bord na Gaidhlig (Gaelic Language Board) and also for Creative Scotland, working on projects which deliver language and culture together. In addition, the conference will be looking at communication and in particular social media – what messages does the Cornish language community send out and what could we do better? We will also be looking at the work of MAGA and its partner organisations during the past year and at plans for the future. There is a small fee of £5 which includes tea, coffee and a buffet lunch. Booking forms are available from the website or by contacting the office. There will be a Yeth an Werin / music session in the evening for those who would like to stay and relax or continue to network! http://www.magakernow.org.uk/default.aspx?page=893
