From Celebrate Kernow:
"Please join us for our annual Midsummer bonfire which will be held this year on the 21st of June at 8pm.
The bonfire will be on the Penzance side of the car park next to the Long Rock level crossing. Please bring food and drink and if you have any, musical instruments bring them to. The
Bonfire will be lit at 9:30pm at dusk. We will then try to perform the fire torch waving technique that used to be common in Penzance until the 20th century.
Celebrate Kernow times its midsummer bonfire to avoid clashing with the main events during the Golowan festival.
